Bachata Israel aims to make events, venues, and community tools usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

Standard

We work toward conformance with Israeli Standard 5568 (based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA) and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), as applicable to websites.

Compliance status

This site is partially conformant with the standard: most areas meet the requirements, while some parts are still being improved (see the known limitations below).

• Larger text options
• High-contrast display
• Option to underline links
• Keyboard focus indicators and operable controls
• Hebrew and English, with correct page language and direction

Known limitations

Despite our efforts to make the whole site accessible, some parts may not yet be fully accessible:

• Interactive maps can be hard to operate with a screen reader; the same information is always available as text — the event address and event cards are shown below every map.
• Real-time chat and some dynamic updates are still being improved for assistive technologies.
• Some third-party content (such as embedded maps) is not fully under our control.
• The site has not yet undergone a full external accessibility audit.
